🛍️ Shopping, Wonder, and Sky-High Adventures 🚀

Of course, a visit to one of the most famous shopping malls in the world was a must. The gigantic Dubai Mall is not just a shopper’s paradise, but an experience in itself. In addition to luxury stores and countless boutiques, we marveled at the enormous aquarium, which, with its sharks, rays, and colorful fish, felt like a window into another world.A definite highlight was the ride up the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. From dizzying heights, we were treated to a view that’s hard to put into words. The city stretched endlessly before us, while the setting sun bathed the skyline in golden tones. A moment that truly took our breath away.

🏡 Our Apartment Overlooking the Magic of Dubai 🌆

Our apartment was a dream! It had a direct view of the Burj Khalifa and the world-famous Dubai Fountain. Especially in the evening, the spectacle of light, water, and music was simply magical. We could hardly believe we were enjoying such a view right from our window.

🚖 Too Early at the Airport? No Problem! 🗺️

Unfortunately, we arrived at the airport way too early – but in Dubai, even that turned into an adventure. A friendly taxi driver offered us a spontaneous sightseeing tour for just a few dirhams. As we admired the impressive skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, and palm-lined streets, our youngest one slept peacefully in the car. An unforgettable contrast – while we soaked up Dubai to the fullest, he enjoyed his own little moment of peace.

🐶 Always with Us – A Picture of Emma 📸

On all our travels, a picture of our beloved dog Emma is always with us. She may no longer be with us physically, but in our hearts and in our photos, she lives on. Of course, we couldn’t miss taking a photo with her picture in Dubai – even on the Burj Khalifa, we snapped a memory shot. It feels good to have her with us in this way and to keep her memory alive in all these special places.
